ICT, the Information Communication Technology is spreading all over and academic institutes like the Fergusson College would naturally take advantage of this technology.

Ferguson College has always been a source of development may be it is social, cultural, or political development. Now it is entering in the era of technological development. We have always been with times and established departments like Electronics Science, Computer Science and recently, we have also established the departments of Bio-Technology, Microbiology and Environmental Science.

It’s also an era of globalization. We frequently talk about the ‘Global Village’. It is now just a ‘click’ and you reach any corner of world. This is made possible by the internet.

Launching ‘Fergzine’ the e-magazine of Fergusson College is an attempt to be part of this cultural globalization. We shall be accessible to all our past, present and prospective students at the click of the mouse.

‘Fergzine’ would provide a platform for all Fergussonians to interact with each other. We will share our achievements and happenings on the campus. Our senior teachers will help in career counseling, there will be a variety of features, there will be articles by teachers, students and we will definitely welcome articles by our past students.The launching issue carries articles by senior teachers and the Principal. We invite our readers to respond to the ‘Fergzine’ immediately with criticism and suggestions so that ‘Fergzine’ takes genuine interactive shape.
