Dr. V.V Acharya is appointed as the Coordinator, Maharashtra and Goa region for the Mathematics Olympiad activity. Mr. Aditya Huddedar of XIth standard and Mr. Sameer Mehta of XIIth standard have been selected to appear for the National Mathematics Olympiad Examination.

Prof. Bhakti Dublay was awarded the Vice Chancellor’s Gold Medal for standing first among all language students at M.A in the University of Pune.

Mr. Kishor Pendharkar, lecturer in the Zoology Deptt was awarded Doctorate by the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad for his thesis entitled “Bio-Systematic Variability of Cestode Parasites of Fishes & Mammals from Alibag and Pune Districts”.

Dr. K.M.Sonaware, completed his PhD degree in Sept 2006. His topic was "Study of gamma attenuation coefficients for solid and liquid for different energies."
