Foundation of Past Students' Association 

It was on 18th November 1945, that the alumni association - The Old Fergussonians' Association (now renamed Ex-Fergussonians' Association - EFA) was established with the blessings of Wrangler R. P. Paranjpye. Wrangler G. S. Mahajani became the first President of Old Fergussonians'Association.

Past Students' Home:  A dream come true

It was during the centenary decade of Fergusson College , that the Association was revitalized, the idea of it's Own Home made an impression on past Fergussonians, a generous donation of Rs. 2.5 lakhs was given by the Firodia family and a drive for collecting Home Fund set in. The D. E. Society was kind enough to allocate a strategic piece of land and finance necessary for completing the dream project through EFA HOME FUND collected by Ex-Fergussonians. The Bhoomi Puja of Firodia Maji Vidyarthi Niketan was performed on 2nd Jan. 1986 and The Vastu Puja on 30th April 1987. The EFA: HOME - FIRODIA NIKETAN was inaugurated on 14.2.1988 at the hands of Shri Ram Pradhan, Governor, Arunachal Pradesh with Shankarrao Jagtap, Chairman, Maharashtra Legislative Assembly in the chair.

The carpet area of the present building is just 100 sq. m. with a meeting hall,four rooms, a small kitchen, 3 toilets on ground floor and two small rooms on first floor. The facilities are used for conducting workshops, seminars, lectures and yoga / meditation classes. The oil painting-portraits of distinguished Fergussonians made by Royal academician Late Shri Gopal Deuskar have been displayed in the main hall of the home. Perhaps Fergusson College has a very rare privilege of having a separate building raised through funds from Alumni.

• The Golden Jubilee of the Association was celebrated on 16,17,18 February 1996
• Celebration of Birth Centenary of Acharya Atre where distinguished persons from the fields of literature, drama were felicitated
• Celebration of birth Centenary of the veteran cricketeer, Ex-Fergussonian Shri. D. B. Deodhar
• 1996-workshops were arranged on problems of higher education, wherein distinguished educationists participated
• Seminar-workshops on Fine Arts -Music, Dance and Drama.
• Special programme in memory of Shri. P. L. Deshpande.
• Felicitation of distinguished sportsmen and scholars.
• Student Counselling Centre Manmukhi' conducted two workshops in collaboration with Fergusson College .
• Starting of website of EFA .
• In near future, we would like to publish a Directory of Distinguished Fergussonians & strengthen the activities of student Counselling Centre, set up on the first floor of the EFA Home, a museum displaying the historic documents, photographs, unique monuments etc.
